The Chief Guest Mr. S. Junjot (Chairman, Education Board PMC ) & Mr. M. Babar (Leader of Opposition PMC and Corporator of Kondhwa) were present, on the occasion of the Annual Day function held at the Nehru Memorial Hall.

Mr. Abu Saleh Anis Luqman Nadwi  ( Vice- Principal, Islamiya School Abu Dhabi) presided over the training Program. Role of teachers in school & in the society. The speaker, Mr. Anis Nadwi, guided the teachers with his precious knowledge and research on the topic. The wonderful guidelines and principles laid down by the speakers benefited teachers from schools all over Pune.

A Free Health Camp was organized in association with Baby Friend Organization. This camp was organized specially for the school students. The doctors observed symptoms of calcium deficiencies in majority of students, due to intake of junk food like chips, Kurkure, cheetos etc.

Mr. B. A. Ansari (Ex-Head of Urdu Dept) and      Mr. Mushtaq Asar (Educationalist) were present for Flag Hoisting on Independence Day. Gifts & sweets were distributed among the children.

A Medical Check-up Camp along with the Rubella vaccination program was organized on the           3rd March 2007. Rubella vaccine was given to girls between 8-14 years of age. This vaccine is helpful in lowering the chances of deafness that occurs among women as they grow.

The Chairman, members, staff & students of New Grace English School were privileged to welcome Hon. Barrister Mr. A. R. Antulay (Minister of Minority Affairs New Delhi) as he paid a short visit.
A bouquet of flowers was presented by the Chairman while our little wonders cheered gleefully with colorful pom-poms !

A Training session for the parents as well as teachers of different school was organized Eminent speakers, Maulana Abu Saleh Anis Luqman Nadvi (Vice Principal, Islamiya School, Abu Dhabi U.A.E.) & Mr. Jaweed Sarfaraz (Educationalist) delivered enlightening speeches.

The topics were-

                " Moulding the modern child-responsibilities of parents and teachers. "
                " Globalisation & its impact on education. "

A short question and answer round was successful as all the teachers and parents got a new strategy & a vision to deal with our future citizens, the seeds of a fruitful tree, our students!
Various school teachers attended the training program.Schools were Valley View , Noble School, New Dawn School , Lady Halima and many more.

Felicitation of X & XII students was carried out by Dr. S. N. Kotwal (Ex Principal, Poona College) & Mrs. Rohini Jadhav (Education Officer, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan) on 4th August 2007.

The Independence Day was celebrated with much gaiety and pomp at our new school premises.
Mr. Bhosale (Police Inspector, Kondhwa) hoisted the flag and guided the students. Also present at the function were special guests, Mr. Amiruddin Shaikh (Ex C.I.D Officer), Mr. Bashir Ansari,         Mr. Baba Qadri (Editor, Mera Bharat Times), Mr. Jamaluddin Shaikh (Chairman, Grace Education Foundation).
Students from different classes spoke on Independence Day and its importance. The guests appreciated the students and also distributed flags and sweets.
